History

OLB was incorporated in 1993, initially providing creative and marketing services, from concept to print, to Fortune 500, including AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Merrill Lynch, Lord Abbott, Rebock and Scholastic. The Company also developed and maintains a complex extranet/intranet infrastructure that allows Doremus, an Omnicom Communication subsidiary to provide its advertising services to 50 of the top financial institutions on a real time basis. In 1996, the Company began providing Internet and e-commerce services with the Playboy Enterprises Catalog Division, creating and hosting two e-commerce sites, Critics Choice Video and Collectors Choice Music. The Company has since developed a number of other branded e-commerce sites for Partnerss selling a variety of products including sporting goods, chocolates and cosmetics, and has since partnered with these companies, providing ongoing hosting and maintenance of their sites. Having gained extensive e-commerce experience with these businesses, OLB developed a new and unique business model in 1999 by creating a database of millions of products that gives added value to Partners operating websites.

ShopFast-PC is a software suite. ShopFast-PC enables clients to create on its own a standard website pre-designed information for the sale of products from the OLB Database. The client may choose from a selection of pre-designed logos, design layouts, and color schemes for the website. Further, the client may personalize certain information on the website, by adding the client's name, slogan, and other information about the client.

What are the costs for the ShopFast commerce platform?
Our e-commerce software and services are provided at no cost. Instead, Partners share with OLB in the net profit from e-commerce transactions generated from the branded sites we will operate and maintain.

Net profit represents 50% of the profit generated by e-commerce transactions, after adjusting for all direct costs associated with the sale, including the cost of goods sold, customer service and credit card fees. Shipping and handling charges are paid by the e-commerce customer at the time of sale and are forwarded to our Suppliers by OLB in conjunction with the payment for products shipped.
